Office of the Town Clerk and Registrar of Vital Records
Welcome to the Burlington Town Clerk’s website. The Clerk’s office serves the community in numerous ways. All Land records relating to property within the Town of Burlington are recorded and housed in this office along with subdivision and easement maps.
As the Registrar of Vital Records; certified birth, death and marriage certificates are available for purchase and marriage licenses for individuals being married in Burlington are issued.
This office handles dog and sport licensing, filing of trade name certificates, name changes affecting title to property, veteran discharge papers (DD214), liquor permits, maintains the record of current notary public and justices of the peace, and registers new voters and processes absentee ballots.
Agendas and minutes from the Boards & Commissions in town are filed with the Town Clerk and are available for public inspection in this office or on the Town of Burlington’s website.
