Board of Finance

Serving Burlington's financial interests.

Burlington's Board of Finance provides the financial guidance and oversight that every town needs. Our members work seriously on keeping the town budget within reasonable spending limits while allowing our wonderful community to grow and prosper. The delicate balance between town income and expenses is especially apparent when property and business taxes become due. Working with our Selectmen and our Director of Finance, the Board of Finance has your interests in mind - keeping taxes down.

Annual Budget meetings are held the 1st Tuesday of June per Charter. Budget Hearings are held at least 10 days prior to the Annual Budget meeting.

The Board of Finance meets the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 6:30pm. We welcome your input and involvement throughout the year.
