The Board of Assessment Appeals (BAA), formerly titled Board of Tax Review was created in Connecticut with the enactment of Code 1650. This code provides the legal basis for taxation of property in Connecticut.

The Town of Burlington Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Commission (IWWC) shall enforce the Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Act and shall issue permits with terms, conditions, limitations or modifications OR deny permits for all regulated activities in Burlington.

Johnnycake Mountain Park Advisory Commission
The mission of the Johnnycake Mountain Park Advisory Commission is to create a feasible and visionary short and long term master plan for the purchased property that provides the multi-generational community of Burlington with opportunities for active and passive recreation.

Johnnycake Mountain Park Design Committee
The Johnnycake Mountain Park Design Committee is comprised of both residents and town staff. The Committee also works alongside Landscape Architect Firm, BSC Group.
