A PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETING was held on May 17, 2023, regarding the proposed Illicit Discharge & Detection Elimination (IDDE) Ordinance that will be voted on by the Town Electors on June 6, 2023.

This informational session was hosted by Jerry Burns, Zoning Enforcement Officer, and attended by Ken Slater, Town Attorney – Halloran Sage.

This Public Information Meeting shared:

  • A brief overview of the IDDE Ordinance
  • How it is an integral part towards complying with the State of Connecticut Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System General Permit, also known as the MS4 Permit.
  • Why it is needed for the Town of Burlington.
