The Burlington Public Library is looking to hire a Junior Library Assistant to work for seven (7) hours on Saturdays for 10 months: September through June, and during the week in July and August. This is a year round position.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY: The Junior Library Assistant will maintain the availability of library materials by shelving books and other materials, read shelves for accuracy and organize materials into proper sequence, and processing new materials. Additionally, they will assist patrons at the Circulation Desk by checking out and checking in materials, help locate library items and refer patrons to others for appropriate assistance.
