Burlington's Town Counsel And Probate Court

 

TOWN COUNSEL

 

Burlington's Town Counsel provides legal advice to the Board of Selectmen, other town boards, commissions, staff and officials. Counsel for Burlington helps define or interpret legislation, case law, federal, state and local regulations and statutes for the benefit of the Town of Burlington.

PROBATE COURT

The Probate Court is a legislatively mandated component of the local system of government in Burlington. The Court's jurisdiction includes estates, trusts, guardianships and conservatorships. Burlington's Probate Judge also oversees family matters such as termination of parental rights and adoptions
